These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Held app and website (“Held”), operated by Kate Reardon(“we”, “us”), based in Ocean Shores NSW, Australia. By creating an account or using Held, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or use Held under the supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account. Your membership is for your personal, non-commercial use only — please don't share your account.
New members get a 14-day free trial with full access to the library. No payment details are required to start, and we will not charge you automatically. When your trial ends, your access pauses until you choose to subscribe — there's no surprise charge.
You can cancel any time from your account — it takes just a tap. When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Because memberships are billed in advance, we don't generally provide refunds for the current period after it has started, except where required by law. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. If something has gone wrong, please contact us at kate@katereardon.com.auand we'll make it right.
Discount or promotional codes are subject to any conditions stated when they're offered, can't be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
Held is a guided meditation app for general wellbeing, relaxation, and stress management. It is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care. If you have a medical or psychiatric condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before using Held.
For your safety, never listen while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that requires your full attention — these practices can bring on deep relaxation and altered states of awareness. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or visit findahelpline.com.
All meditations, audio, text, and design in Held are owned by Kate Reardon or our licensors and are protected by copyright. Your membership gives you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to stream the content for your own use. You may not download, copy, record, share, redistribute, sell, or publicly play the content, or use it to train any automated or AI system, without our written permission.
Please use Held lawfully and as intended. Don't attempt to access it in unauthorised ways, disrupt or interfere with the service, or misuse other members' or our information. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
We aim to keep Held available and to keep adding new practices, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features from time to time.
To the extent permitted by law, and other than the consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, Held is provided “as is” and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of doing so.
Your use of Held is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “last updated” date above, and continued use of Held means you accept the updated terms.
